چکیده
Renewable-energy-based microgrids (MGs) are being advocated around the world in response to increasing energy demand, high levels of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, losses, and depletion conventional resources. However, investment cost MGs besides low selling price main grid two challenges realize developing countries such as Iran. For this reason, government should define some incentive policies attract investor attention MGs. This paper aims develop a framework for optimal planning renewable energy-based MG considering policies. To investigate effect on formulation, three different introduced pilot system The minimum penetration rates RESs receive defined 20% 40% scenarios. results show that proposed reduce MG’s total net present (NPC) amount carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions. maximum NPC CO2 reduction comparison with base case (with policies) 22.87% 56.13%, respectively. simulations conducted using hybrid optimization model electric renewables (HOMER) software.

Simulation Of Incentive Mechanisms For Renewable Energy Policies
Designing sustainable energy policies has a strong impact on economy, society and environment. Beside a planning activity, policy makers are called to design a number of implementation instruments to enforce their plans. They encompass subsidies, fiscal incentives, feed in tariffs to name a few. Understanding the impact of these instruments on the energy market is essential to select the most e...
متن کاملTechno-economic and resource analysis of hydroprocessed renewable jet fuel
Background Biomass-derived jet fuel is an alternative jet fuel (AJF) showing promise of reducing the dependence on fossil fuel and greenhouse gas emissions. Hydroprocessed esters and fatty acids (HEFA) concept is also known as one of the pathways for producing bio jet fuel. HEFA fuel was approved by the American Society for Testing and Materials in 2011, and can be blended up to 50% with conven...
متن کاملReal -Time Pricing Design Considering Uncertainty of Renewable Energy Resources and Thermal Loads in Smart Grids
In this paper, a novel real time pricing design is presented for Demand Response (DR) programs. A Load Serving Entity (LSE) is responsible to provide energy for flexible loads, inflexible loads and thermal loads. The LSE consider operation conditions of system and uncertainty of renewable energy resources and it designs a Real Time Price (RTP) demand response. The inflexible and thermal loads c...
متن کاملOptimal Operation of Residential Energy Hubs Considering Optimized Capacity of Photovoltaic-based Renewable Energy Systems
The deployment of multi-carrier energy systems, which are called energy hubs, is one of the most recent and useful strategies in the field of energy systems. The reliability of energy systems and their operation cost and efficiency could be improved by applying the concepts of energy hubs. The simultaneous management of electrical consumptions and heat demands by the concepts of energy hub woul...
متن کاملTechno-Economic Analysis of Different Energy Storage Technologies
Overall structure of electrical power system is in the process of changing. For incremental growth, it is moving away from fossil fuels major source of energy in the world today to renewable energy resources that are more environmentally friendly and sustainable [1]. Factors forcing these considerations are (a) the increasing demand for electric power by both developed and developing countries,...
